Went in today and asked the young man behind the counter what he recommended. He said the lotus waffle. It did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly and I would highly recommend this place. Make sure to try the Qashta.
The name Halleez instantly reminds me of some of my favorite sweets and desserts! With the new ownership in place I must say the service is great, friendly, and done in a timely manner, even on some heavy traffic I have encountered in Halleez. The atmosphere is laid back but vibrant at the same time! Whether you are there for a Tea and some homework or a Bubble Waffle and ice cream with friends, Halleez is a great place to hang with its well-sized dine-in area.
Banana cream pie milkshake was amazing and the biscoff cheesecake was also really impressive. Ambiance is nice it definitely fits the vibe of a dessert place. Not very busy whether it was because of limited Ramadan hours or location, either way this place deserves more customers!
Fresh desserts made right there while you wait! Portions are plentiful. I had the Biscoff sundae which was SO GOOD! I can't wait to get back and try another flavor!
These bubble waffles are absolutely delicious. They're a bit pricey at $14, but well worth it! Definitely would recommend checking this place out
I'm in love with bubble waffles! Add homemade ice cream and toppings- heaven. The choices for dessert are really great!, use their selections or mix and match your own on 2 kinds of waffle or crepes. The also have regular sundaes and shakes. The staff is very friendly! Will come back again for sure and am planning my next treat already!
